Apparently, these Banks had very prudent management who performed fantastic job.
They weren’t terrible when they were first sold, “greater the risks the greater the returns”
Because in other countries, such as Canada, the banks are more tightly regulated. Canada has one of the most stable banking systems in the world, simply because there is more regulation. But even Canadian banks are hurting because of the credit crisis. But not a single one has become insolvent because of the frauds committed on Wall Road.
