What Happens to a Master Card Debt if the Card Holder Racks Up a Debt of Over 10000 Australian Dollars?

and the card holder dies O/Seas has not made a will, .Has no assets in Australia. Has a car and furniture in S.E. Asia, but nothing else. His wife , by with holding information , could go on upping the debt at an ATM
Could his offspring in Aust be made to pay ?

  1. No the offspring can not be held reliable for the debt. HOWEVER his wife could be if the debt was charged while they were married.

  2. Even if he has no physical assets. If he has worked in Australia there would be some funds tucked away in superannuation benefits – that is where the money will be taken out of.
