  1. College tuition is skyrocketing!

  2. I reckon its a excellent news that people who don’t come from affluent families can meet the deprivation of a college loan at a subsidized rates

  3. Gov’t college subsidies are called grants.

  4. Conservatives don`t want government involved and if you don`t have the money for school that is your fault, not sure how that will improve mankind. Liberals want government aka we the people ran loans where we can vote people in government out if we get terrible loans, we can`t vote CEOs out.

  5. It’s a racket to help maintain the Elitists status quo

  6. Subsidized loans No. Cheap student loans yes!
Subsidized tuition available now it is called the Services Service

  7. They are a excellent thing. Not all students come from a wealthy family that can meet the deprivation of to pay $35K or more a year for tuition.

  8. I am conservative and reckon that if you can get excellent grades, you should get free college regardlessof what school. Example: you are really poor, but have a super brain. If you can qualify for MIT, Pacific Tech or Harvard etc, then you should get to go. We need to nuture smart minds to keep the country excelling. Now I also reckon that dullards should not be allowed in colleges. We should change high school to be either a prep for college or how to dig ditches, fix cars etc.

  9. Subsidization is a policy usually designed to increase access to a particular product or service. So, basically subsidized loans would seek to increase the number of college loans.

Whether or not it is excellent depends on whether the loans get paid back. If not, then sending more kids to college and throwing money away because they can’t make it back is not a excellent policy.

  10. I guess what everyone wants is someone else to pay for all their education, housing, health-care, fuel costs, internet etc. The thought that someone should work and provide for themselves is so ancient fashioned and stupid, why not get the other people to pay for it.

    That is the Liberal view.

I worked for my own college education and for my own health-care and still pay my own mortgage.

Sooner or shortly the money will run out and all the freeloaders will have to blame somebody for the mess.

Government is not the solution to the problem, government is the problem.

  11. they encourage colleges to increase tuition, which encourages government
to increase subsidized college loans, which encourages colleges to increase tuition, …

    see how it goes?

  12. This should have been obvious to you.
Conservatives recognize that subsidy ALWAYS generates shortage and liberals recognize this is a excellent way to manipulate people.
