Here in Orlando FL they are reporting hotel occupancies down 9% with room rates down about 20% and hotel tax revenues down about 30%, so I’m thought the industry increases are bogus. Disney and Universal studios have recently gone threw a layoff period, are reporting huge reductions in attendance and offering all kinds of gate price deals for locals (not that locals can meet the deprivation of it anyway;-)

I didnt really see the impression of that until I drove around the CA silicon valley business districts recently. I believe there are more empty spaces than there are filled. It’s pretty shocking to see building after building…all empty.

i just read some fantastic news that concerns all the wealth the babyboomers lost in this real estate and stock market crash. Being that a huge number of baby boomers have NO retirement, 30 million of them have reentered the job market the last numerous years, because they can’t meet the deprivation of to retire.
