My husband and I are trying to apply for a home loan. I’ve been with my current employer for 3 years and he has been with his current employer for 1 year. His work history had been very unstable up until last year. We just want to know if this will be a problem when applying for a home loan.
I need to get a home loan but i do not have a “full doc” on my work history. Is it still possible for me to get your hands on a loan if i have fantastic credit only?
I’m guessing I need to have been working for quite a while to get a mortgage? I’ve just finished 6th form and I’ve never worked before so I have like no work history so far but I’m just after a rough thought how long I need to have been working before I won’t get laughed out of a bank! And will this time be reduced if I get my dad to be guarantor?
