My home value has dropped to about 105,000 and I owe 130,000 on the place, I have tried the Home Affordable Program but I am not quite eligible. I know they will look at my credit score and I was wondering if it is considered a hard or soft inquiry.. If it is a hrd inquiry how much will it affect it and how long will it take to go back to the way it was?
I want to lower my monthly payments by refinancing my auto loan. I have a excellent credit score to refinance (700s). I was recently unemployed (from October to February). But, I am about to start a new job this March 1.
How long should I be employed to qualify for an auto loan refinancing? (if there is such a requirement)

do they like mail application or fax them or just talk on the phone about refinancing process. and how long would refinancing process would take
We have a VA loan, but have been paying on it for only 5 months. Do we have to wait for a year before we can reflect about it? Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.
