I’m new to loans, but wanted to know that if I were to take over residential real estate property by means of auction, etc., and make monthly payments on it, could I use that property to obtain an equity loan, mortgage loan, or some sort of guarantee loan?
I know the three…Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, but rather then checking all three I was advised that essentially loan/mortgage officers typically use only one to check eligibility for a home loan. What is the most well loved credit bureau used? I am in the process of looking for a home, and want to make sure I know which score will be pulled considering all three have different scores.

i.e. 40,000 mortgage or 140,000 mortgage. In other words I want to buy a home for 20,000 will a morgage company give a loan for that amount? Is there a based amount for mortgage companies? I live in NC area if that helps
