Hello, I have an interest rate of 6.5% and got a excellent faith estimate for a refinance at 5%. It looks excellent but I really don’t want to pay all the closing costs again. A huge difference though is the PMI on the GFE is only $94 and I pay $160 now. I do not have any equity in my home. Can I somehow lower my PMI without refinancing my mortgage?
