My boyfriend owed about $11,000 for his student loans, he expected a refund of about $3,000 fed and $1500 state, and $900 for the stimulus. We never received a check and he told me they kept it because he owes for his student loans. Can they keep ALL of his checks???? or is he lying?
I’ve been approved, in principle, for a mortgage, but I haven’t signed anything yet, my nerves are shattered about what could go incorrect now! What other checks do the mortgage providers do? After a mortgage has been approved can they then change their minds?
I received the announcement 2 days ago. I am waiting for response from loan company because I am not sure what is going on. About two weeks ago I questioned them to give me a status of all the checks that had been sent out because I had not been receiving many acknowledgements of paid in full notices. Should I be calling a lawyer? Please advise.
