Filed for bankruptcy over three years ago and numerous months shortly I totaled my car. Had to buy a car asap as I lived 25 miles from work. Had no savings or a car to borrow. Now stuck with a 2004 auto worth about fifty-five hundred and owe about twelve thousand on a 7-year loan! HELP please!?!
I have had my home since 2003 and have a 6.5% interest rate. I have a VA Loan. I want to free up money if possible to pay for student loans. I have been in Bankruptcy for about 5 years. My chapter 13 just clogged.
Should I even try to refi, or would my horrible credit not get me a better rate?
1. We had a rental that was discharged in a bankruptcy- is that a foreclosure and how long do you have to wait (we have been told we can do now since its been 2 years, weve been told 3 years, weve been told 4 years).
2. Do you pay upfront in FHA the PMI for the lifetime of the 30 year loan?
I want to improve my credit rating. I have debt that I am now able to payoff, but they were included in a bankruptcy. I know that consumers have the ability to negotiate to have collection accounts remove with a settlement. Can I do this with accounts included in bankruptcy?
Dr. Deth: I am very aware that I am not obligated to repay any debts included in bankruptcy. But, because each collection account goes against my credit score, I wanted to know if it still possible to have it removed!
Can a large public debt cause the bankruptcy of the government,building it unable to meet its financial obligations? WHY?
