Question About Refinancing a Car?

refinancing

I have a car loan that I want to refinance. Here is the problem…my bank that I am financing through is about 100 miles away from my home and they say that I have to physically come to the bank in order to refinance there. Is it possible for me to take my current loan and refinance at a credit union/bank that is only 2 miles away from home or does it have to stay at the current bank?

Thanks so much.

  3. Yeah, go with a credit union. They usually have better rates anyway.

  4. There are many questions surrounding the chance to receive a refinancing car loan because it is far less known about than the option to refinance a mortgage. If you are familiar with mortgage refinancing, you know that that primary goal is to save money by procuring a lower interest rate. Still, there are many other questions you may have, the answers to which can be found here.

You are probably familiar with mortgage refinance options, but have you looked into the possibility of refinance car loan options? The purpose behind this is to pay off your current loan and secure a lower interest loan or one with a shorter repayment term. The process to be approved is simple and not time consuming at all. Deciding to refinance your vehicle could save you huge amounts of cash from here on out.
