That’s not right at all. You just have to do a small research before result a modification company. Make sure they have a money back guarantee. Make sure they dint promise you anything as far as results then yes that is a red flag. Also if they advise you not to make your monthly mortgage payment or question for your title. There are companies out there helping people but sadly there are people out there trying to take peoples money without helping them.
