Here in Poland we got economic collapse, food shortages (virtually nothing on shelfs), riots, revolution, hiperinflation, new currency just 20 years ago (1989-1990). Now, no one remember this (but another collapse is comming).
Just FOCUS on BUILDING from scratch and AVOID VIOLENCE. That is very simple, but I know it is hard to believe for Americans who never experienced poverty, carpet bombings, holocausts and equipment like that.

@usergently depends. Will that be a direct trade of assets for farm-land, seeds, farm vehicles? Will it include a way to keep people close to that food so that it won’t be stolen, misdirected or very costly to transport people & food to meet each other?

@ANTIDALLARD Roubini didn’t call it nearly as well as Celente or Schiff and sounds like he is just squawking what someone else has told him. Schiff’s been barking this out at whoever will listen since at least 2002. That’s 8 years. Not Roubini. I’m sure Celente’s been at it much longer.

I know what you´re talking about. Here in germany people have voted for a two party who made a coalition. They just voted for them because they promised to decrease the taxes. Well guess what. They just want to decrease the taxes for companys ^^ and not for the citizens…. They have a budget of 24 billion € (Euro). The problem is that sooner or shortly they´ll have to increase the taxes and ALL of us will have to pay HIGHER taxes… Stupid people…
