I have a high credit score (760), and was approved for my bank’s best rate. The refinancing process is taking awhile, and I want to get a better rewards card than what I have. Would it be a terrible thought to apply for a new credit card before the refinancing closes?
I have two credit cards that have about $8,000 in debt between them. I am serious about paying them both off, and pretty much will go as far as starving to get it done. It would just be so much cheaper and simpler if this was one bill instead of two. I have played the balance transfer game, but at this point it seems like adding another bill would be more problematic than consolidating. I just don’t know how to do it or who to trust.
Is there any downside to consolidation?
My boyfriend and I are plotting on getting married sometime in the near future. We both have one semester of college left, and we would rather do it about a year after we graduate. BUT I have been told that you must work at the same job for 2 years before you can get a home loan and we don’t want to rent. Obviously a year after we graduate, neither one of us will have been working for 2 years. If this is right, what should we do? I know nothing about loans and I’m really lost! Someone please help!
