What Would Be the Affect of Mortgage Forgiveness?
I’m not an economist (got a C in HS econ). But I’d be curious to know the affects of a wide spread mortgage forgiveness if the bank holding your loan goes under.
Let’s say the only requirement to have your home free and clear is that you remain in it for 5 years. This would be an fascinating debate. I’d reflect it would boost the economy because of the extra income.

What Do the Banks Want to Know Regarding Mortgages?
My partner and I are going for our first mortgage and we’re going to see banks tomorrow. What will we need to take with us? Of course our bank statements etc.. We have no bills as we live in rented accomadation. I do have a credit card but I don’t receive statements and I don’t owe a lot on it anyway.
I owe £200 on my credit card.
we are just “shopping” for mortgages tomorrow and disucussing what the bank would lend us. we have a rough estimate. like i mentioned we have no debts. i only owe £200 on my credit card which i’ll clear at the end of this month.
