In NC if My Husband Refinances Home and Does Not Add My Name, if He Would Pass Does the Wife?
have to pay estate tax? He would be doing a Will and leave-taking it to me. We are having problems b/c when he bought the home he received money from Home Investment Partnership Act for down payment, although he has owned it for 11 yrs. they will not relief the title saying he has to pay 2500. because he is refinancing it. (i know it’s dumb). We don’t have the 2500 right now.
Can You Refinance a Home if You Have Little or No Equity?
My mother recently refinanced her home twice before and because of the housing market going wayyy low she was looking to see if it was possible to refinance her home to lower her payment and go back to a fixed 30 year loan. (we don’t want to take any money out btw just lower the payment)
Is that possible?
BTW she’s on an ajustable rate.
