How long you can stay in a house without paying the mortgage?
I’ve never missed not a single payment, but because of terrible economy I cant can’t meet the deprivation of to pay it any longer….I just can’t.Except my lender cut the payment in half.What happen if I stop paying? Shall I let my lender know first? How it will effect my credit?
House is in Virginia,USA.
I currently have a Flexible Rate Mortgage(ARM). I anticipate getting a large refund back for tax refunds. Can you buy down points if you are trying to get a fixed rate loan. I have gotten behind on some bills and I want to know if It is best to pay off the bills and wait to refinance or try to buy down
points for a better fixed rate loan?

The house is only 10k. So if I pay 10k cash, how quick can I do a home equity loan for that 10k? I need to make repairs as it is a foreclosure in poor condition. Can I do a refinance loan and get more than I even paid for it if it appraises higher than 10k, which it will? Thanks for any help
I have 28 years left on a 30 year fixed rate at 5.9%. Is it worth the cost to refinance if i could get it at 5.5% 30 year fixed rate loan?
